  2. I am soooooo glad I found this video! I am 60 & just beginning my KETO journey. Love love love the tips of a pinch of baking soda in my coffee to eliminate the stevia during an IF (Intermittent fast), telling restaurants about sugar allergy (who can argue with that?), and her other tips! Thank you so much! I know I am late to the game, but better late than never. So far in 7 weeks of low carb (including 4 weeks to going for KETO), I have lost 24 pounds and 3 inches from my waist and have never felt better! I am listening to your ads and a new sub here as I truly appreciate your content! 😊😋👍

  3. Getting started on Keto is best to start slow while cutting down on carbs & increasing fat until you become fat adapted. At that point hunger can be your guide as you learn more about the flexibility your body may need. Two meals a day at first then adding IF (intermittent fasting) & OMAD (one meal a day) is an achievable goal after about 3-4 months that can be sustained long term while losing weight. Dr. Ken Berry, Eric Berg & Sten Eckberg are great resources too, especially on supplement advice you might need as you get other issues in control like blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, insulin resistance, etc. – which I doubt anyone starting at this point in life doesn't have to deal with!

  4. I’m 59 and have dieted since I was a teen. Hypoglycemia was always happening and finally I gave up and the weight went on. I was physically exhausted from portion control and calorie counting .. Being in ketosis and not starving prevents episodes of hypoglycemia. I have more energy and my mood is better. I feel more positive and stable. I use to be irritable a lot or weak from calorie counting Basically starvation . Give keto a chance. In the beginning you may feel achy and tired but that’s just your body adjusting over to fat burning Keto is a way of life and you will get use to it and use to meal preps. It will become natural. In the beginning it felt unnatural for me. It took about 2 weeks and I lost 10 lbs and started feeling better mentally and physically . I have a brighter outlook on life so hang in there! It’s worth it

  5. May I suggest hypnosis therapy to completely rid yourself of self sabotage?

    I’ve had two friends do it and quick smoking after smoking for over 40 years. One session. Never smoked again. Check it our.

I have been in the same situations as she explained about to get in hospital for knee replacement but then just before that I decided to try keto it was three years ago and no pain nó knee surgery just like her I recovered with following keto life style and it will be for ever for me because all the health benefits i got in the first place and secondly loosing weight and I follow the instructions from Dr Eric Berg mostly almost every day I feel great and I am 69 years old women.

  8. This is precious video and very educational. I started last week more like Ecco low carb plant base diet. Don’t want to call it Keto. And I already are results. THE best diet. Hands down. Without oils. Yes fat from good sources. No oil. I was in high carbs low fat plant base diet for 6 years. I was sick and bloated. My body don’t metabolize even healthy sugar and carbs. With low carbs plant base diet is Success success!!!. 💚🌱💎

  10. You mentioned a ridged lifestyle. I think a ridged lifestyle is: having to take medicines for diabetes and high blood pressure or being on oxygen or having a leg amputated because of diabetes, or being in so much pain, or having heart problems, having ankles so swollen you can’t walk, or being so obese you can’t buy pretty clothes, or can’t bend over to tie your shoes or being embarrassed to go to the beach, or getting in and out of the tub is a nightmare, or, or, or, etc. I have seen people like this. Some were in my family when I was a little girl. I am older now than they were then. I am none of those things! Nor have I ever had any of those problems. Eat healthy everyone and cook real food at home!…. P. S. I have a head full of hair! Always have and I’m 60!
