  2. 3 weeks in and never got any "flu" or really noticed any of the first 5. Wondering if this is because I used to do IF before I started Keto so my body was already used to burning fat maybe? I've definitely noticed a reduced appetite though. I can easily go to around 2pm or even later sometimes before I even consider eating.

  3. Last year, I ate normally. Not Keto, not anything, just normally and very light for 3 month and I lost only 5 KGs.

    I did 5-6 hours of cardio 5-7 days a week and ate 3 meals each had about 300-400 calories.

    I started Keto about 2 weeks ago and I didn't even exercise and I lost 6 KGs so far.

    Bottom line: Get into Ketosis, you're wasting your time with carbohydrates and intense exercise daily.

  5. I use a little trace minerals supplement in everything I drink and bypass keto "flu" but still with the headaches. I do not EVER have headaches and wish I knew what to do about it but it is a great sign I am in fat burning.

    I heard one time" if I invited you to a big meal with all your favorite foods and you could eat as much as you wanted. What would you do to prepare? Fast of course, so that you are STARVING when you get to the house to have a feast. That's exactly how I feel, like an animal after fasting.

    Wish I knew how to get over this….? I know keto works it's just the beginning is hard.

  6. Man… I was kind of feeling the mental clarity part for tiny reasons, just tiny things here and there
    But the moment I realised I really, definitely had that mental clarity from ketogenesis is when I was reading an article online and I realized that not only I was understanding everything in the article effortlessly, but I was rushing through it, the reading was fast and fluid, which I don’t remember having since I was like 13 years old or something

    More efficient use of food due reduced loo time.

  8. I have been playing with Ketosis for 3 years now and here is what I know. Not everyone, me anyway, get keto flu or anything at all negative. If you get into ketosis and stay in it for a while but later decide your bored and miss some of the old carb foods, you may have a harder time getting into ketosis the next time. I have had a problem getting in and staying in, ketosis for the last couple of months but, I know I will prevail sooner or later. I have even fasted for 48hrs or more and had a 1.4 on my keto meter but, after a couple days of eating a proper diet, my number went steadily down hill for some reason. I have heard, if you stay into ketosis for a few years and set the fat burning stage for good, then eating a fast food burger will not take you out of ketosis. Sounds good in theory but I have yet to stay in ketosis for more than a year. All that said, I lost 85 lbs in that first year and felt like a 25 year old again, with all the energy and I had the desire to run all the time. HOOAH!!!
